Dr. Priscilla Heredia was born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was an honors graduate of Eagle Pass High School in 2007. She attended the University of Houston and the University of Texas at San Antonio where she was a UTSA cheerleader, a member of the Baptist Student Ministries and Golden Key National Honor Society. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2011.
Dr. Heredia then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, National Optometric Student Association, and the Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity.
She completed her internships in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland Air Force Base and the South Texas Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Upon graduation, Dr. Heredia joined her father, Dr. Carlos E. Rodriguez in his eye care practice serving Maverick and surrounding counties for over 30 years.
Dr. Heredia is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is also currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and the Lions Club.
In her spare time, Dr. Heredia enjoys spending time with family, reading, boating, and skiing. She is married to Daniel Heredia, also of Eagle Pass.
Charles H. Campbell, M.D., originally from Nixon, Texas, Dr. Campbell is Board Certified in Ophthalmology since 1974. He specializes in diseases and surgery of the vitreous and retina. Dr. Campbell attended the University of Texas for his undergraduate degree, then Tulane Medical School, then ophthalmology residency at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and his retina fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He founded South Texas Retina Consultants in 1974 where he remains Senior Partner Physician. He is married and has five grown children and four grand children.
